*AGAINST THE OUTRAGEOUS DIRECTIVE:
THE MOBILIZATION HAS TO BE PURSUED *


The proposal of the return Directive (organising the possibility to 
detain illegal immigrants for 18 months; click on link below for more 
details ) as it was recently amended and adopted by the representatives 
of Member States on May 22 *is even more alarming that the amended text 
by the European Parliament last September* against which we were mobilized.

The proposal of Directive must now be submitted to the vote of the 
European Parliament on the *18th of June 2008*.
As this vote is imminent, it is important that the mobilization 
continues in order the return Directive is rejected.
