mary rose:  Mary, the additional info you send here is much appreciated.  I 
did not have time yesterday to view the site further.  But, I did get a 
chance today to read "The New Story" which you have so kindly attached here. 
And which I hope is transmitted on to those whom I am fwd this message. I 
feel it so important that in case it is not, I am
going to copy it and transmit it in a new message.

I much appreciate the work of Brian Swimme upon which the interview entitled 
"The New Story" is based. And I am using his book, "The Universe Story, 
written with Father Thomas Barry, as the basis for much of Chapter I of "The 
Sacred Quest for the Who of I Am".  But what the "new science" today, based 
on human biology and especially in the field of neurocardiology,  is 
revealing, takes us far beyond what Swimme is talking about in this 
interview.  And, it is into this new field that much of my research for my 
book has taken me.

In the Universe Story, Swimme and Barry reveal the "four forces" which were 
left after the Big Bang.  These are referred to as the "four physical 
forces" of nature.  They are:  1) the nuclear force, 2) the electromagnetic 
force, 3) the weak force, and,  4) the force of gravity.  Of these forces, 
the electromagnetic force is the most important as it is "the fundamental 
mechanism that makes possible the operation of all living beings including 
ourselves and most of the material world to which we usually relate." (Fagg, 
L.W., Electromagneticism and the Sacred - At the frontier of spirit and 
matter, 1999). Dr. Fagg is a nuclear physicist of thirty-five years, who 
began his research intrigued by the question as to how "the theory of the 
electromagnetic aspects of electron-nuclear scattering as described by the 
theory of quantum electrodynamics, by far the most accurate theory in all of 
physics," works so well.  And, he further asked: "How can it be that this 
one force underlies all of chemistry and biology and enables all of earth 
nature including us and our brains to grow and operate?"  At the same time, 
for ten years, Dr. Fagg was also studying for a graduate degree in religion. 
What he noticed was that in their work, "Christian mystics, as well as in 
the scriptures of every other religion studied, light (which is 
electromagnetic radiation) was accorded a special place, not only as a 
symbol or metaphor, but also as a deeply intimate experience of sacred 
presence.

And, of course, reviewing the work of Dr. Valerie V. Hunt, we saw how 
"light" in the form of an  aura, emanates from the human body, reflecting 
the "state of consciousness" of an individual; and, that the heart is the 
source of this "energy
field vibration". moving outward in a toric-shaped field as much as fifteen 
feet from the body, with the pure white light frequency indicating a high 
state of awareness manifesting as the emotions of  love, compassion and 
understanding of an individual.  And, many of us have also learned, 
(dependent upon how long one has been on the Co-learner's list)  that 
"emotions" are manifest in the form of neurotransmitters called "oxytocin." 
And, we know that oxytocin is  manufactured by both the heart and the brain. 
This work is also substantiated by that of Dr. Candance Pert, formerly a 
highly-recognized researcher in molecular biology, as documented in her 
book:  "Molecules of Emotion, The Science Behind Mind-Body Medicine," as 
well as by Joseph Chilton Pearce in his book:  "The Biology of 
Transcendence, A Blueprint for the Human Spirit." in which actual pictures, 
made by a special magnetic imaging device, of the toric energy field of the 
heart, may be viewed

But, the point I want to make here is that the new science has moved well 
beyond "chemistry" as being the basis of life into recognizing that it is 
the universal electromagnetic energy field that "underlies all of life" and 
holds form together.  For what science is also recognizing today, due to 
advanced instrumentation, (much of it used by NASA in space exploration) is 
that there is no such thing as "solid matter," it is all a perspective of 
how the eye sees. (Neurobiologist, Dr. Carla Hannaford, "Smart Moves - Why 
Learning is Not All in Your Head," - 2005)

This is also documented by Dr. Bruce Lipton, a cellular biologist 
specializing in stem cell research, in his book, "The Biology of Belief, The 
Science of How Thoughts Ccntrol Life" in a section entitled "The Illusion of 
Matter" (pages 100 - 102) published 2005).

What is also referred to as "the authentic self" by Brian Swimme, is 
entitled: the "Full Potential Self" by Dr. V. Vernon Woolf in his book "The 
Dance of Life" (2005), based on the emerging knowledge that "potential" is 
all that there is.  And, we fulfill this potential by focusing on it, using 
"the law.of attraction" to manifest what it is we want in our world.

More on this later, but as expressed previously, what we today call "God" is 
now recognized as natural forces of the Universe working together to produce 
what we in modern times call a "quantum computer".  What is transpiring now 
is more than a "quantum leap." It is transition in human consciousness that 
by far exceeds anything we have experienced in past history. The discoveries 
of Copernicus, Galileo, and Newton pale in comparison.  And, as in the past, 
religion is right there attempting to shut down the lid on this emerging 
information so as to continue to hold us within its spell.  However, the new 
science is revealing that many of the events of the past as told by 
"mystics" are not myths, but in effect are manifestations of our "spirit" in 
the form of electromagnetic field energies.

As to language, we need to remember that each word carries its own subtle 
energy frequency that interacts with every other energy frequency in the 
universe.  And what we want to do is to bring about "coherence" by 
"harmonizing" the current states of chaos so that "in-forma-tion" flows like 
crystal clear water in a swiftly moving stream to form a swiftly moving flow 
of consciousness throughout the "vacuum" of the Universe. .

And, we very much need to know how this all works, because this is how we 
can and will heal our world.  Knowledge is power!  Let us learn how to use 
it wisely.
