[GJM] FYI: I'm running for office

Hi All,

I just wanted to let you know that I am running for State  
Representative, to see if I can bring some commonsense to Beacon Hill  
in Boston.

My campaign is a bit of a long shot, as the incumbent is pretty  
popular, despite being Republican in a blue state.
Nevertheless, I plan on bringing my ideas to the fore as best I can,  
and shaking up the status quo.  I have gotten a lot of positive  
responses from people I have met, based on some of the ideas I have  
expressed.  People seem very receptive to the idea that we have too  
many TYPES of taxes (property, sales and income) and should just have  
one type.

It seems like now is the time, and this foreclosure thing is driving  
me nuts.  It is a low form of government that punishes its citizens  
physically and financially, but lower still is one that evicts people  
from their homes.

The theme of my campaign is "TAX Your Imagination!"  You can read my

campaign site.  It is a summary of my view of economic and political  
history in a mathematical context.  It is one of the better things I  
have written, and is compact enough to fit on one side of an 8 1/2 x 11.
