Dear Robynne, thank you for sending this.  However, I have a different take on things from where I sit. 

Recall, that we here in the U.S. have since World War II become the most prosperous nation in the history of the world, but, at the same time we have caused more environmental devastation that at any time in past recorded history. 

Also, recall that whatever form it takes, we are always moving toward healing, health and wellness.  

So, what I see that's happening is that sub-consciously we are destroying this huge deviant system that we have created, but which we have become addicted to, which is undermining our life support system and threatening the very future of the human race. Consciously, what we have done is very difficult for us to come to grips with, so our sub-conscious mind takes care of us and snaps into action causing to do what is necessary in order to move us into the next higher level of conscousness having learned the lesson embedded in the past 6,000 years. 

Dr. Jay Earley writes in "Transforming Human Culture" about the human family being in a "transition within a transition" phase at this time. 

And, looking back on my own life, I recognize that my sub-conscious "intuitive" mind takes care of me and guides me on my path. Frequently my "minds" don't see eye to eye as I am torn between my sub-consciously programmed "wants" and what is best for me.  But then, I find unfailingly taht in looking back, I end up saying to myself: "Oh I understand now why that happened, thank goodness I didn't get more deeply involved in that situation." And, learning is frequently painful. 

But looking objectively at what is happening now, I feel it to be for the best when the interests of all concerned are considered from the point of view of the holographic mind.  If we continue on as the human family on our presently chosen path, we most assuredly will go over the cliff of no return.  We are faced with changing or dying. 

In healing addictions, frequently the only thing that wil catch the attention of the addictee is "crisis intervention". This may come in the form of loss of family, job, or dying, or all three as the addicts behavior becomes more and more deviant.  And when one considers this crisis from a global perspective it may well be that the global sub-conscious mind has set us up with a global crisis of a magnitude necessary to obtain our "universal" attention at all levels.
