http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=Esoteric+Agenda+Movie&hl=en&sitesearch=Thanks to Stephanie Sutton for this documentary. WhileI was unable to view the entire film due to the slownessof my DSL speed since I am far from the signal, I wasable to view enough of it to grasp that it parallels theresearch findings I have been uncovering for the past15 - 17 years or so. And which I am currentlyrecording for The Sacred Quest of the Who of I Am.However, I had some problems in that it left out, asfar as I can ascertain the historical background of thefeminine when God was viewed as a woman back inthe Neolithic Age before the Patriachial Order cameinto being and there were "peaceful societies" in thearea of Mesopotamia. The Great Mother worshipof that time revered both the feminine and the Earthas incubators for life, and as such, the Goddess religionwas not oriented so much in sacrificial rites as theywere in reverence for all life. It was Mythraicism, orBull worship, which offered up blood sacrifices and ledto the worship of the "world steer" that fits more of the"paganism" as viewed in this film. And, of course, aswe have discussed previously on this list, many of theMythraic rites were incorporated into Christian riteswhen Pope Constantine made Christianity the officialreligion and then ordered the Bible revised to meet theofficial theological docturn of that time. . . .And I very much feel we must look at today and whatis happening in the true context of past history to understandhow we got here from there. So, while this documentary is important, it also fails tobring out the true spirit of "shamanism" or Earth worshippracticed by indigenous people everywhere. And whilemany of them have been forced to accept Christianity, most still practice their natural spiritual rites in additionto the rites of the Catholic Church, and nowhere is thismore prevalent than among the people in Southern Mexico, and on into Central and South America where they Mayaculture is still very prevalent.I was very glad to see the issue of the "right-brainleft brain" addressed here along with that of education. In all, I feel it was too brief of an overview and left outimportant aspects of history regarding the role that theThe Great Mother and the Goddess played in theNeolithic Age. And for more in depth on this, recommend reading "The Chalice and the Blade" byRiane Eisler and "When God Was A Woman" byMerlin Stone.Thank you, Stephanie for your commitment to researchand bringing the truth to the fore.with love and in gratitude for all that you do and for all thatwe do together. And I do hope everyone watches thisdocumentary and then continues their own exploration intothe "Who of I Am".And, I do hope you forward this message to others, butlet's also insure that what was left out here on the feminineis included.mary rose . . .
