Dear All,

In TFE banks could flourish as never before.
They could be involved in any number of genuine
sustainable projects concerned with the social,
economics, and political welfare of the planet. This
is important to understand.

They could initially transmit new non-repayable money
for various projects (notably those which would
otherwise be difficult, or impossible with the present
capitalist system, and yet vital for humanity, and
global justice).

As soon as the projects becomes commercially
self-financing, and viable then interest free loans
could be used. The banks would not loose out because
they would be creating more credit than before (at
least for the time being). At the same time, they
could involve themselves in new commercial
opportunities which could ultimately replace credit
creation.

The above needs to be seen in context of
Transfinancial Economics per se or else it would
appear "mad", and meaningless. What I am trying to say
is that banks have nothing to fear. In TFE they would
infact benefit greatly.

R.Searle.
