While this notice is prepared for those in London, I do hope
that communities worldwide are preparing to start up LETS
and other similar local currency programs in order to not go
down with the national and international ships of state as their
economic bubble bursts. .

If communities are to prosper, then the money needs
to stay in the local community and not get siphoned
off by international corporations.whose only interest
is in employing people temporarily. This is particularly
true as technology fast replaces the need for human
labor, and coprporations only need "temporary labor"
pools to fill in on an intermittent basis.

Corporations are able to write off equipment as capital expenditures
and equipment doesn't give the problems that human labor does, e.g.
equipment can do 24-hour shifts, doesn't require lunch breaks, rest breaks,
vacations or sick leaves, only short scheduled maintenance programs. There
are no costs associated with payrolls, insurance plans, or pension plans. Neither
does equipment require parking lots, lunch rooms, large administrative office facilities,
and other unproductive under roof areas. Nor does it require a personnel department
to take care of the personnel problems associated with human hires.

When the equipment wears out or becomes obsolete, the company just writes it off,
replaces it and begins a new capital write-off program with new state of the art equipment
that doesn't have to be educated or undergo training programs. If maintained properly, it
always runs at peak performance.

As I have mentioned earlier, but many have forgotten or are new to the list, the labor force
became delinked from the markets back in the mid to late '90's as passive money investments
began to make more money than the human labor force. And, again repeated, it only takes
30% of the worldwide human labor force to produce all the goods and services necessary for
all of the people on the planet. So, there is no way to increase production and expect more
jobs to be produced It ain't gonna happen. Once the genie is out of the bottle, that is, once
human labor has been replaced more effectively, it is difficult, if not impossible to things put
back in the bottle once again.

with love and in gratitude for all that you do, Nick, and all that we do together.
