Having been raised with a "god story" --kind of confusing, sometimes contradictory, but also poetically inspiring, . . I began to notice even as a child the story had a lot of permutations depending on where you looked or who you listened to . . . I began to seek the common denominator, thinking that would be a clue to the "truth."

What do all the god stories have in common? Perhaps they are simply ways of uniting individuals into larger, more powerful groupstherefore more likely to shape the course of human events. 

It will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me that I have found the elements of a religious movement, a god story, in our money system. 

We do need to unify and combine our efforts one way or another. The money system, well designed, could be a very effective and healing way of organizing human endeavors. Our current money system seems very badly designed if what we want it to do is sustain the earth and give all creatures a chance at happiness & peace. I have to ask why we still participate in such a flawed or intentionally evil system? (judging from the results.

mary rose:  I don't believe that any of us participate willingly, that is after we find out the truth about it; but by that time, we are in so deep there appears no way out.  The only hope it seems is for the monetary system to destroy itself.  And, while one wonders if that is not happening, there is also the question as to whether this has all been planned by the powers that be so that they may create this New World Order that serves their special interests. 

While I have little faith in politics, a thoughr that has crossed my mind is that should Obama be elected and choose Hillary as his running mate, the symbolism of this union of a black man and a white woman would make a powerful statement.  A symbol that could be powerful enough to turn the tide should billions of us worldwide put the power of our mind behind this symbol and give them the strength to follow their own conscience in the best interests of all concerned. 

And this could happen if enough of us just believed in it. We must be the change we wish to see in our lives. 

I am holding the field for the fullest potential to unfold in this event now in the best interests of all concerned.
