[GJM] Is God Dead?

If God exists, and there is only ONE God, 'who' is Almighty, All 
Powerful, and All Pervasive, then the fact that we are alive means that 
that God must be alive...
If such a God were dead, we would all be dead....

If God exists, and there is only ONE God, 'who' is Almighty, All 
Powerful, and All Pervasive, then such a 'being' is very probably 
existing in realms of which we have little or no knowledge, and is 
probably very far beyond being concerned with life and death as we 
perceive them.

If God exists at all, then he/she/it/they must be alive!



Imagine that we have a miscreant child, and we feel sure that without 
intervention, this child is going to do something which is going to 
cause itself, and/or other people harm or injury.
We try to reason, to gently persuade, further reasoning, more 
persuasion, all to no avail.
We may threaten the child with the likely consequences of it's actions, 
with punishment, yet all is still of no avail, the child is even more 
determined than ever to take the undesirable course of action....
What to Do??
If we are not to kill the child to prevent the undesirable course of 
action, then we have to let it go to learn by its self, the hard way!

Now let us look at humanity, and let us imagine a God [with the upper 
echelons of the planetary hierarchy (if there is such a hierarchy...)] 
looking down at us.
We have been given teachers, saints martyrs, gurus, saddhus, yogis, t'ai 
chi masters and mistresses and prophets of doom; we have been, and we 
now are being 'punished' with diseases of the body, the emotions, the 
mind, and the spirit... all to the very same NO AVAIL !
We insist on persisting in our undesirable course of action...
Maybe God is Praying that we WAKE UP? 
GET REAL?
MAYBE DO SOMETHING CREATIVE WITH OUR TIME HERE
INSTEAD OF WANTONLY DESTROYING HEAVEN HERE ON EARTH??

Perhaps 2012 is an opportunity, such that if we have sorted our mess out 
by then, we may be permitted to evolve to the next stage of our human 
development....?

WHO KNOWS ??
