but perhaps not.  Anyway, i have had an inquiry as to the URL
for this site so am publishing it again for the convenience of 
anyone who missed it.  .

IMHO, i feel that anything published as "the word of God" 
should be scrutinized from every angle because there are
so many people who have been "enculturated" from birth
to believe the Bible is beyond scrutiny as every word was
written by God.  

When, in fact, as Freke and Gandy ask:

"What if the old testament is a work of fiction, Jesus never 
existed, and Muhammed was a mobster?   .  .
