Join a conversation that matters!
Talk isn't cheap. Talking is what makes us most human! Talking is how we develop shared meaning, deepen relationships, and strengthen the bonds of our emerging global community.
Want to participate? Here are three online conversations starting in the next few days:
Counting to One: Our Common Story (one week) — The stories we tell ourselves help define who we are. In this conversation, we explore the largest story we know about: our awesome evolutionary journey. Drawing from a series of short, engaging videos with physicist and cosmologist Brian Swimme, we explore the significance of our common story — from the initial "flaring forth" of the universe up to our present moment — and what it tells us about what it means to be human, and to be "one."

Counting to Two: The Dynamics of Diversity (one week) — We humans may be "one" but it does not always feel like it! Disagreements arise, tensions are created. Is this a time to withdraw, or an opportunity to move forward into a new stage of awareness? In this conversation we take a new look at conflict and how it can be an engine of conscious evolution, using a model that evolutionary biologist Elisabet Sahtouris calls "The Cycle of Emergence."

Counting to Three: Working Together for a Better World (four weeks) — People who study complex social systems say that what makes them work is often a simple set of "instructions" or "agreements" shared by each individual member. Is there is similar set of agreements for humans that would enable us to work together in our increasingly complex world? In this conversation we explore four possible agreements that just may help: These are to be present, authentic, inclusive, and responsible.
