Hi Everyone, 

Co-learner's list member: Mary Nelson, recently sent me the video "What a Way to Go - Life-at-the-end-of-empire." 
So, thank you, Mary, with love and in gratitude for all that you do, and all that we do together.  Mary had previously sent me a copy of Zietgiest, depicting the "fall" of the towers at the World Trade Center, which I recommend viewing.    

And, I heartily recommend that every one view this film, "What a Way to Go" which, among others features Richard Heinberg. This documentary film covers just about everything we are dealing with today:  stress, dissociation, addiction, sense of loss, fear -- you name it - as the people involved in the film discuss their personal feelings and question how to deal with this experience. Today, we are faced with making more  monumental changes than at any point in past recorded history. And, not knowing if we can accomplish these changes before falling off the fatal cliff of no return. 

What the film brings out is that we must discuss this amongst ourselves. And, somehow find the strength and courage to meet these challenges head on for the wind that is blowing is not deviating in its direction. There is no escaping this -- no place in which to hide and ride out the fierceness of this history-making storm.

What I would like to note here is that Mary Nelson was a member of a small group of 4 people, (if I recall the number correctly) that for four straight years running, presented alternative movies/videos, in a small local theatre in Nevada City, California, a community in the U.S., once a week, and then conducted discussions on the subject material afterwards.  
Needless to say there is a highly educated knowledgeable people residing in this region.  Among them is Co-learner's list member Marilyn Nyborg, one of the founding members of the internationally-recognized "Gather the Women" organization.

I would like to encourage more women to become members of GTW so that we may once and for all end the over six thousand year rule and tyranny of the 'dominator paradigm" by creating healthy and whole relationships in the form of equal partnership between men and women in all areas of our lives. 

What we need is for more people to emulate the efforts of Mary and her group so that the information we need today, upon which to make informed and intelligent decsions, is available to everyone, not just an elite few.  The Net is making this easier to accomplish. .     

I am holding the field for the fullest potential to unfold in our lives now in the best interests of all
concerned. 

We must be the change we wish to see in our lives.
