Dear Mary Rose:
Thank you for sharing your perspective. I think you have put this together
quite comprehensively (recognizing, of course, that we are all on a journey
of continuous learning so tomorrow we shold know more about these ultimate
concepts than we know today). I can confirm from our work on ethical
leadership with pretty ordinary folk that there is a resonance out there
with the need to move in the direction of heart-centred compassion if we
are
ever going to have a truly civil society.
Best wishes,
Desmond
Dear Desmond, thanks for the feedback and comments. Especially your
comment noting: that "we are all on a journey of continuous learning so
tomorrow we should know more about these ultimate concepts than we
know today."
One of the things that came into closer view for me as I reviewed more of
the days incoming messages from Riseup, is that what formerly drove the
money system to shape markets and consumer trends was its basis in oil.
Now that oil is no longer the driving force with an unlimited future, this
is
changing the environment that largely shapes our sub-conscious mind.
So, instead of being "spenders" we are now becoming more conscious
consumers and cutting back on our purchases in many ways. Since
consumer spending is over 70% of the economy, this is making a big
impact as the choice is becoming one of staying at home. And if one
is going to make a purchase it is one that can be used at home to make
life more enjoyable there. So, already people are into a "values" change
and it looks like the consensus will continue to change as changing
environmental forces bring pressure to bear on us. .
with love and in gratitude for all that you do and all that we do together.
