Yes Mary. And if all of us just replaced one hamburger a week
with local vegetables it would save enough space to assure a
nutriitious diet for all of the world.
The world now grows over 3400 calories per person from
plants. It takes 1500 to 2000 calories for a nutritious diet.
And yet 840 million are starving. There is not food problem\
but rain forests are being cut to raise cows. For each calory
of cow meat the cow eats 7 calories of grains. We all raise
the demand for cow meat and drive the price of rice and
other grains beyond the income of 840 million people.
There are many other solutions to the world' problems.
But our political, economic, and social systems make
them invisible. We can work to FixGov. But the most
likely solution of world problems is to FixUs.

mary rose: What a great message, Bill. Fix us, not fix gov.
If we fix us, then fix gov will automatically follow suit won't
it since as a collective consciousness, we form the government?
And, if enough of us are "out of balance" then it throws the
whole system out of whack. But, with love we can help
those who are off balance regain their equilibrium again. It
isn't a permaneant condition. We can reprogram ourselves
just as Dr. Bruce Lipton tells us we can. .
And, the way to fix "us" is to entrain the right and left hemispheres
of the brain and then join them with the heart brain, so we are
balanced and operating with full conscious/awareness -- that is,
our sensory perceptions are open to the full experience Thus
allowing us 'see the whole big picture' which permits us the ability
intelligent and informed decisions. We'll be able to have full vision
from our vehicle as we navigate down the road of life if we just
work on this a little bit. .
This doesn't mean that we need be in "wave formation" all of the
time. We can still use "left brain linear" when we want to narrow
our vision in order to "focus" on one small particle of the problem
and make some adjustments there. Or, we can be fully right brain
emotional/creative if we so choose. What's important is for us to
learn how to manage our "brain states" so that we are operating in
a "coherent" manner and not running around in chaos all of the time
with the sub-conscious managing the whole show. We need to
learn how to use the power of our conscious mind to make decisions
from an "objective" point of view. We just can't affrord to be
running around on automatic all the time letting the past control
what we need to be doing today. And, again, when we are on
"automatic" the sub-conscious mind is in charge. And, much
of the problem could be resolved if we would just "reprogram
the sub-conscious so that our operating system is "up to date".
Imagine trying to use your brand new computer today with the
same old programs available when the field was just beginning.
Anyway, let's reword the problem and say: "We have a logistics
problem, not a food problem. And now, having correctly
identified the problem maybe it will be easier to solve it? If you
recall, Mary N wrote this about needing to "re-word" the other
day . .
with love and in gratitude for all that you do, Bill, and for all that
we do together.
