which are appended below to encourage my 
copy list.  Perhaps you are one of John Perkins' 
Minions who are assigned to respond to my 
recent posts.  It has been one post one response 
for the last several posts while my copy list 
remains silent, waiting for some sixth grader to 
open the debate perhaps.  My sixth grade input

Urban: well Wes, it again sounds like you have it
figured out. I know from previous correspondences
(those that I could understand with my sixth grade
level of comprehension) that you believe in justice
and a sharing of the planet's treasures among the

I know your intentions are good and that virtually

There is some tendency to think that the way to

for is to change human nature, (and methinks a 
lot of effort has been wasted in that direction) but 
I think YOU correctly assert that the right kind of 
LAWS --laws which guide humans to the correct 
behavior, laws which enable the higher, nobler 
human nature, are the vehicle for achieving what 
we seek.

Were the "powers that be" actually interested in 
the kind of justice, equality, democracy, etc. that 
the rhetoric would have us believe they want for 
us, these kinds of laws (perhaps your TOP) could 
easily be inplace.

But it seems there IS a secret elitist conspiracy to
put us under a one-world gov't (have you read the
stuff about the Bilderberg group?)

And it seems the task of those of us who sincerely
want the sustainable, peaceful world of equality is 
to take back the agenda from the elitists pulling the
puppet strings of the well-meaning but ignorantly
complicit "leaders" and captains of industry . . . . .
and demand a sustainable world where economies 
are NOT predicated on war preparations . . . . . . 

In other words we have to figure out how to enstate
LAWS which empower, enable and REQUIRE the 
right kinds of activities that lead away from this fear-
based mentality we have become trapped within. 

To cut to the chase (even though I don't know how 
to make this happen either) the first concrete set of
laws to change -in my thinking- would be those that
allow the current debt-money system. It has so much
power at this stage that even though we can see the
disastrous results piling up we seem powerless to do
anything about it . . . . .

urban: i admit i am not up to speed on the optimum
policy or the wrong policy, although i do believe we
are in agreement that wrong policies are being pursued

i would welcome a chance to participate in your open
debate --at the sixth grade level it will take to
inform the general public. WE DO care and want better
policies and real choices. Maybe you could frame for
us a key issue in simple terms & see what comes of it

Here is an excerpt from a 10 October message 
to an old friend, forwarding #839 and 
Figure 7-9m.gif which you did not see:

"Quite by chance I was exposed to General 
Electric's post war decentralization program, 
followed by a new product program to 
automate the calculation and execution of 
an optimum dispatch of production on the 
US Eastern Power Grid.  I wrote the OLS-120 
specification for the Automatic Dispatching 
System (ADS) in 1953, was shortly removed 
from the project, and offered my choice of 
three other jobs.  I got pig headed, and spent 
the next thirty two years with nine defense 
contractors, other than GE. The elementary 
principles, which were the foundation of

Here, for sixth graders, is the "key issue in simple 
terms" you requested.   

Europe and Japan adopted the "Family Wage" after 
World War II, while the US converted its 1942 G.I. Bill 
into a Shylock's loan program.
