Dear Janos,
I am sure you are not suggesting that action is not needed for addressing the impacts of climate change..Elimination of usurious finance system is critical for getting the results..

While on this website, it is worth looking at another part
http://www.co-intelligence.org/y2k_breakthrough.html
Remember the Y2k scare rumbling on during the latter years of the last
century? People seem to have an insatiable appetite for indulging in
apocalyptic expectations.
Global warming hysteria has this very same psychology driving it.
What astonishes is me is the great public's apparent ignorance of geological
time scales.
This simple item of general knowledge would greatly temper people's
credulity about our ability to drive earth's climate for better or worse.
A cursory look at the earth's history during the past few hundred million
years is enough proof that climate has always been changing and always will,
regardless of what we do or do not do.
There are many threats to our global civilisation more real than changing
weather.
To hint at just one of them, think how the New Orleans disaster need not
have happened.
The scale of devastation was not the work of Hurricane Katrina but the sloppy
ideas driving public finance which prevented the construction/maintenance of
the levies required to keep the city safe. The Dutch people have managed to
find all the money needed ($13 billion ( 13,000,000,000) so far) to
keep their sea defences effective.
