            PRESS STATEMENT

The immeasurable depth of corruption in India can
be assessed from the following most anguished words
which have emanated from the tongue of the highest
court of the country.

" EVERYONE WANTS to loot the country, and the only
way to get rid of the corrupt is to hang a few of
them, according to the Supreme Court.
“....The law does not permit us to do it but
otherwise we would prefer to hang people like you from
the lamp post,"

This observation of Their Lordships might strike
deep at the hearts of a common man but for our worthy
politicians it is nothing more than the utterance of
frustrated idealists who are leading an ivory tower
existence and have not the remotest relations to the
realities existing on Indian streets. They are public
servants who have dedicated their lives to the public
cause, and as such for them the shrill condemnation
like the one made by the Honourable Supreme Court is
indeed plaudits which will pay them dividends during
elections.

Perhpaps Their Lordships are unaware that most of
the cases of corruption against our scrupulous leaders
have arisen out of the political vendetta of their
rivals. The CBI inquiry against UP Chief Minister, Mr.
Mulayam Singh Yadav was the part of conspiracy of
Congress executed through the Supreme Court and the
Parliament had to bear the brunt of his party's
ire.Similar is the story of every corruption case.
I apprehend that if Their Lordships
impeach, either through words or judicial verdicts,in
such ruthless manner the integrity of our leaders on
whose hefty shoulders is resting the entire burden of
the country's democracy, they ( Their Lordships) might
be accused of being a part of global gameplan to
destabilise the country's political institutions.

After all ' WE ARE THE MATURE AND THE LARGEST
DEMOCRACY OF THE WORLD'

May some natural disater bury these corrupt
politicians and bureaucrats so deep into the earth
that even their dirty voices may not come out again
to vitiate the ambience of our country - AMEEN

 Supreme solution: Hang the corrupt
R. Balaji
New Delhi, March 7

EVERYONE WANTS to loot the country, and the only way
to get rid of the corrupt is to hang a few of them,
according to the Supreme Court.

“....The law does not permit us to do it but otherwise
we would prefer to hang people like you from the lamp
post," a bench of Justices S.B. Sinha and Markandeya
Katju said while hearing the bail petition of an
accused in the Rs 1,000-crore fodder scam. Railway
Minister Lalu Prasad is also an accused in the scam.
As the counsel of the accused -- Braj Bhushan Prasad,
a dismissed employee of the Bihar government -- tried
to make a submission, Justice Katju further said,
"Everywhere, we have corruption... The only solution
for this menace is to hang some people.”
