Interesting.
From the BBC article: "[Mr McCarthy} also points out that cosmologists believe in the presence of dark matter and dark energy. Might they somehow help his cause?"
Interesting that Sir Eric did not comment on this. The fact that 95 per cent of the cosmos is "missing" matter/energy, must have some relevance to the discussion.
On the other hand, if it takes an indefinite amount of time to set up a repeat demonstration, the whole claim does smell hoaxy.
