Dear All,
This communication may be of interest.

Dear Ilyan,
I have not read Professor Kohrs book but the
basis notion is "small is beautiful"....and efficient.
I am sure there is great truth in all that but we live
in the present capitalist system where big is
beautiful...but not necessarily always efficient
admitedly!!
Odd as it may seem in a transfinancial economy groups
concerned with small communities, and sustainability
would be easier to create as there would always be
grants around. Ofcourse, NGOs advocating such a way
would via greater public awareness be better funded.
Their influence on the public psyche becomes greater.
Though TFE appears to advocate big changes, and big
communities this should not always be the case by any
means. It depends in the end which way society wants
to go. It neither agrees, or disagrees with "small is
beautiful". I repeat it is ultimately upto sociey, and
not not politicians, and their ilke..
However, we have to deal with the capitalist system en
direct because without its reform many things will be
extremely difficult to materialize (ie. longterm
sustainability in its various forms with greater
financial empowerment of capitalism).
Regards,
Robert Searle.
