Hello again, Steve,

Please accept my apology for being five days late in getting back to you
and other readers of my frequent and politically incorrect (PIC) posts.
Also, my sincere thanks for presenting another Biblical politically
correct solution for what ails us in your 9 January reply, which is
appended below for the enlightenment of my readers.

It seems that few of my readers share the goals of your Schonfield World
Service Trust, judging by the absence of any replies but yours to #23,
and the one and two day delays in distributing #23 by several of my
favorite mail lists. I wholly agree with those goals so concisely stated
by the Schonfields:

"to create, by the will of God, as an instrument for the promotion of
world peace and justice, a free nation, pervasive and universal,
dedicated to the service of humanity, to the function of international
mediation, and to the demonstration of a pattern of nationhood."

In my view, these goals originated with the men who confederated thirteen
British colonies to launch the Global Empire described by Dr. James Cumes
in his new book, "America's Suicidal Statecraft: The Self-destruction of
a Superpower." They hoped, as do you, I, Dr. Cumes, and most of my
readers that the USA would lead the world by its example; with all
nations as its friends, and none as its enemy.

But we neglected the advice of Thomas Paine in 1792, the advice of Pope
Leo X III in 1891, and the advice of Bertrand Russell in 1915; so Japan
and West Europe were able to replace the USA on the global moral high
ground after 1946. The term, carpet bagger, was coined I believe during
our post Civil War reconstruction of the Former Confederate States Of
America. Carpet baggers have characterized all of our many subsequent
nation building efforts throughout the twentieth and twenty-first
centuries, and produced similar unfortunate examples of poverty,
unemployment, and inflation in each case; except in Japan and West Europe
who followed Paine, Leo X III, and Russell after 1946. The US, since the
1860s onset of industrialization, has been so strongly biased toward
depression that it could not even recover from the 1930s depression
without the help of WW II spending, which is what finally completed the
reconstruction of the former Confederate states, and raised them to
approximate parity to the Northern States of the USA.

Back to your inquiry, Steve. You wrote below:

"The late Willi Haller wrote a book suggesting (the Biblical Jubilee) as
a possible solution to the accrued interest and speculation problems of
western economies. What do you think about this?

I agree that a Jubilee Year following the seventh of seven Sabbatical
years would provide a wonderful, and greatly appreciated, relief for the
victims of predatorial lending by the world's Carpet Bagging Shylocks
(CBS) who are the most successful of the world's WHIPs (our indispensable
wealthy, healthy, intelligent, and powerful folks). A Jubilee year would
rank favorably with other remedial measures that are politically correct,
in that they offer relief to the unfortunate middle and lower classes.
But such remedial measures do not address the root cause of poverty,
unemployment, and inflation among the middle and lower classes of today's
Democratic societies. Remedial measures; such as the minimum wage,
means-tested welfare, and subsidies for the elderly are what Democratic
Parliaments vote for when the "Left" is in charge and again when the
"Right" is in control, because that is where the votes are to be gained.

My interest in the optimum policy for large systems began in 1953 when I
was exposed to the post war decentralization program of General Electric,
as viewed from the Specialty Instrument Division which manufactured a
multitude of small products. Quite by chance, my most interesting
project was a new product program to develop equipment (a system) for
automating the existing manual procedures for computing and executing an
optimum dispatch of production on an electric power grid. Many of the
M.I.T. engineers who designed those manual procedures learned their
economics from Paul A. Samuelson whose politically correct text books are
also technically correct, but well obfuscated to obscure the financial
structure of both corporations and communities. At that early stage of
my career, I mistakenly thought that all American corporation were
managed like General Electric was in the 1950s. Things change, even at
GE, I recently read somewhere that GE now makes more money from
speculation than it does from manufacturing, but it is still at the top
of the FORTUNE 500 list and Westinghouse, once competitive with GE, is
long gone from that list. So some of our corporations have something to
teach us about government.

The point of my experience is that there are more sovereign corporations
in the US power grid, and almost as many product lines within GE, as
there are sovereign nations in the global economy. And the power grid
and the GE corporation enjoy peace and stability while our world of
nations does not, even though they are all operated by unchanging human
beings. All of the Democratic National Parliaments in the world, plus
the Democratic Global Parliament to be established by "One World
Government," have nothing to add to our knowledge of the "Laws of Nature
and Of Nature's God" which govern the flow of money and wealth through
our corporations and local governments. If the Law governs, there is
little, except trivia, for Democratic Parliaments to worry about.

Antonio Rossin, in his reply to Didier Coeurnelle on the World Citizens
list posed a question that is basic enough to frame the Law for every
nation, religion, and ideology. He wrote in part:

"A simplest question is: how can our Western countries hope to provide
democracy, liberty, and justice to the Middle East and elsewhere in the
world if we do not first provide democracy, liberty, and justice to our
citizens as an example?"

I would only add, democracy is not sustainable without the Law. And the
Law has been in effect for only three stages of our Judeo, Christian,
Moslem, Protestant, Humanist tradition: B.C. 1913 to B.C. 975 in
Biblical Israel, 1776 to 1898 in the USA, and 1946 to 1976 in Japan and
West Europe. The Law may still be effective in Switzerland, but no Swiss
dares to speak of it in public. As shown on the attached file, the first
tithe completed the Law for local governments in B.C. 1913, the mirror
year of the 1913 Federal Reserve System. The second tithe enabled an
Empire of thirteen tribes, which made the third tithe necessary. Some
people refer to the B.C. 1471 tithe as the "so called" first tithe, and
refer to the 1451 tithe as the "so called" second tithe," while
neglecting to mention the earlier B.C. 1913 tithe. So one has to read
all versions of the Bible, as well as the Koran and other religious
books, to get the true picture of the Law.

Again Steve, the solution closely follows the Schonfield's goals and
needs only a one page presentation if properly stated.

Kind regards,

Wes Burt

Hi Wes,

Thanks for your comments which I find interesting if a little baffling
because my grasp of
macro-economics is not so good.

I had a thought based on your remarks on bible history. Are you familiar
with the idea of the
year of Jubilee practiced in ancient Israel. One of our leading
nationals, the late Willi Haller,
wrote a book suggesting this as a possible solution to the accrued
interest and speculation
problems of western economies. What do you think about this?
