Dear Lurban,

Thanks for reopening our ongoing discussion of
the past few years. I am pleased that you now
have unlimited time on the Internet because it looks
as if you will need that time to keep up with the tsunami
of articles predicting, facilitating, and encouraging a
second "great depression" of the US economy. The
thing about this flood of articles that leaves me
disappointed is: that they are completely true, no
one lies to us, but all leave out that 3% of the subject
which contains the solution for the problems being
described. As you have previously remarked, it is
nearly impossible to have a conversation on this
topic, even with members of your own family. The
subject is taboo in polite society!

In your note below, Lurban, you write:

"If your work has a weakness, to me it would
be that you haven't made it accessible enough
to people like me, or to those even less steeped
in these matters than I am . .."

As a wise man once said: "for some social defects,
the only cure is the passage of time." I am 83 now,
so time is getting short. If Pope Benedict X VI gets
his second encyclical on social justice published in
time, we might learn the cure for the slowly accelerating
US "natural inflation rate; 2.3%/year, 3.3%/year,
4.0%/year, and ??? (shown on Figures 10c and 10e)
which started eighteen years before the FRS and IRS
were adopted in 1913. That year was the mirror year
of the First Tithe paid by Abraham To Melchedizek
(Gen. 14, 20 B.C.1913). The first 10% of GDP was
for feedback to human development and local
government. The second Tithe, 442 years later,
was for Federal Government, Caesar, and empire
(Num. 18, 21). The third Tithe was not a tax, but
rather, private charity for the poor and community
building (Deut. 14, 22). The New Testament is one
long lament for the loss of the Law.

Thanks again, Lurban, for keeping the ball in the air.

Kind regards,
Wes Burt

TOP and TWP are cognoscible by sixth graders from

 TOP = 100% Capitalism --- TWP = 0 to  50% Capitalism

Urban: I am temporarily in a position where
I have unlimited time on the internet and
have been reading much more than I usually
have time for.

So I just read this entire post from Wes Burt, and
must say it is intriguing to get this glimpse into
what you guys are up to. Being somewhat out of the
loop all these years I am not sure what some of this
means, but I have always had a strong feeling that
things were going on here that may end up being
helpful in resolving what many recognize as an
enormous problem of an entrenched power structure
that keeps its power by keeping most of us in the dark.

Even before reading this post, I wanted to share and
get response to a couple of other readings I studied
over the past few days. One is a paper (60+pp.)
entitled "Fractional Reserve Banking as Economic
Parasitism" by Vladimir Nuri and the other is a
700+pp. book published in English in 2006 by Jesus
Huerta DeSoto. (Spanish version pub. 1998) Both can
easily be found and read online via Google or the
names.

Both of these contain charts & graphs that remind me
of charts and graphs often included in Burt's
explanations. I confess these kinds of graphics are
not my strong suit . . .. . Anyway, Wes et al: are
you familiar with these works? and if so what do you
think of them, & how do they fit into your work. If
your work has a weakness, to me it would be that you
haven't made it accessible enough to people like me,
or to those even less steeped in these matters than I
am . ..

Sincerely , Urban

PS sounds like you have some interesting public
figures as well as credentialed thinkers on your
panels . . . good onya
