Thank you Ashok,, I was thinking of making an army of communicators spread globally connected through the net communicating for watching the business for their performance on environment sustainability index..I would like check the site and see though I do not have time right now. I have applied for support for establishing a global center for ecological audit and governance. The concept of ecological audit has been proposed by this humble world citizen seeking urgent responses for decelerating the consumption of green house generating gases globally...

  With warm regards

The new report "Doing Business 2007: How to Reform" has just been released and the Web site data updated. These highlight global rankings on the ease of doing business, the top reformers, and information on the business regulations of 175 economies. A country's ranking in the Doing Business report has become a well-known indicator. Are countries beginning to "game" the ranking by reforming only those areas of business regulation covered by the report?s methodology? Of the 10 topics in the Doing Business report, where do you think reforms can most significantly improve the investment climate? What research questions would you like to see in future Doing Business reports?
This online discussion is moderated by Svetlana Bagaudinova, a private sector development specialist with the Investment Climate Department and Sylvia Solf, a private sector development specialist on the Doing Business team who leads the business start-up aspect of the project.
This discussion will be open for comments until September 29 and is supported by the following background readings:
