[GJM] Philip Stott is wrong : Alternative Islamic /Monotheistic (Green) Viewpoint.

Phillip Stot is wrong in advising adaptation and that is non-response.. We all adapt to whatever happens..specially thoise who survive..
   
  I wished to communicate this to my former organisation Development Alternative www.devalt.org as the responses were defined to be withing the range of adapatation and mitigation..
   
  We must reduce the consumption of GHG generarting services and utilties through adopting ecologically sustainable consumption patterns ,lifestyels,habitats, transportations.
   
  I beleive that with the adoption of prayer 5 times a day as per the commands of Allah/God we can substantially reduce the green house emission by cutting down on the leisure use and exhibitionist consumption...
   
  There is no guaruntee for the fullscale replacement of the fossil fuel based energy .

Moreover, climate is a highly complex system which is difficult to predict in any way in spite of the advanced scientific models involved.

Essentially, he was saying that we have to ADAPT to climate change. It has happened before in the past even without the so-called greenhouse gases...!! Though he apppeared to admit that human activities did not help the situation but simply speeded up the process. Yet, its effects were exagerrated by the mainstream green orthodoxy. Moreover, he made the claim that the so-called magnifying effect of the greenhouses gases in the atmosphere had never been proved. 

How true all this is another matter but I feel he is worthy of consideration, and include two links for interested parties.
