Hello there,

Titus Maccius Plautus is deceived by the system of which he is a prisoner.

It is a matter of awareness! The full story is not so reassuring.

To enjoy "The day, water, sun, moon, night..."
  a.. one has to keep alive;
  b.. to keep alive, one has to eat;
  c.. to eat one has to have money (unless one is willing to be a beggar);
  d.. to have money one has to sell oneself (labour is an inalienable part of a human being, i.e. one can no more sell one's labouring capacity only, than cut of an arm to hire out by the day);
So we are all domesticated labour providers to the economic system run by an elite set of owners (unless we, ourselves, own capital assets hired out to generate sufficient income to live on).
