Hi Dan, nice to hear from you.

While it may seem like your dollar vote goes unnoticed, what if all of us
felt that way and never voted our dollars for the alternative? BTW I feel
your comments on the political vote are well made.

Trends that end up as "transformational events" have to start somewhere so
why not with you, or with me? I am currently reading Daniel Goleman's
Social Intelligence - The New Science of Human Relationships". In it
Goleman writes about the contagion of moods and our ability to change the
mood or emotion of someone else. He writes that "moods, like colds are
contagious".
Biologically-speaking, this ability resides mainly in the amygdala --
contagion central of the brain. Everyday almost, something new seems to pop
up about how human consciousness works from a
scientifically-based biological standpoint and the more we know about the
biology of consciousness, the more we are able to apply it wisely --
learning how to make conscious choices and overriding our innate flight,
fight or freeze syndrome and acquiring the ability to move into a
holodynamic (multi-dimensional) space which offers unlimited choice or
potential. . . .

Science recognizes that everything we do has a "ripple out" effect. And the
power of the human mind is unlimited in its ability to create new events and
change trends within the collective consciousness of a group. This is what
happened in the recent election as thousands of people
"caught the wave" and voted the Democrat ticket. What IMHO is unique about
this is that it went against the media propaganda-created contagion and
emanated seemingly from a people contacting people face-to-face effort.
However, it has been said that "word of mouth" is the most powerful form of
advertising there is.

Goleman is also the author of "Emotional Intelligence". Emotional
intelligence is very much tied into the integration or "entrainment" of the
right and left hemispheres of the brain with the heart brain (part of the
body-mind connection). When we are talking about emotional intelligence, we
are talking about "emotional maturity" and the ability of an individual or
group to make mature decisions or not dependent upon which of the Six Stages
of Development an individual or the majority of the group is currently
operating from. We are also talking about "Holodynamics" and whether one
is involved in particle, wave or "integrated thinking". More on this later

What I feel is important for us to realize is that while we have elected a
group of people who reflect a more mature intelligence we now need to
recognize that the two-party adversarial system we have in place is a very
immature form of governance that is driven by a very immature monetary
system. So this is where the work needs to begin. What is really called
for is a new
systemic design that is capable of handling the complexities of the world in
which we live today -- this is not about Democrats vs. Republicans and
thinking cannot be confined to the U.S. -- this is a worldwide problem.

This calls for a move from fundamentalist faith-based thinking into
multi-dimensional thinking.
based on scientific evaluation.

Voting with my dollars is often a problem for me, because I usually
vote not to buy, at least not 1st hand, so I wonder if anyone notices
my vote. Similarly with political votes, those who don't vote are
assumed to be lazy, ignorant or don't care. At least register, and
write in NOTA or "cancel this office" for each position. If a lot of
people did that it would get some attention.

>It seems to me we need to "get it" that we-the-people
are only "pawns in the game" because we don't
understand the game. The game is not played by
"voting in the political arena" -- it can only be played
by "voting one's dollars in the marketplace". However,
we have become addicted to the system and continue
to vote politically and purchase to excess products
and services as programmed to do by the GMS using
the media system to do so.
