Dear Robert Searle:

The reported act of assisting the farmers is more out of political
compulsions rather than showing a genuine redressal of economically
starved millions of farmers in many parts of India. Wrong systems have
comprehensively deprived the people of a better life and farmers in
tens of thousands have committed suicide during past three years on
account of wrong government policies that are also related to allowing
free hand to Corporate greed by governments. Situation of poverty level
with hapless and resource prone communities is far grimer than what is
reported and much much needs to be done immediately. Sometimes,
lip service statements that stem out of political pressures and or other
compulsions are not actually implemented or relief comes after a long
bureaucratic delay when enough damage is already done.

Instead of assisting farmers on peace meal basis,Government must
however find the reasons of such incidences and stop the recurrence
  once and for all.

  Loveful regards

  Ashok

More info on the present situation in India. I would recommend people if they are interested to do a word search using something like this ...interest free loans, asia, India, government etc...and it is amazing what seems to be going on in the east.

I may send more data like the one sent here.
