My question is: why is Item 7 so politically
incorrect, when the corresponding expense
of developing our capital assets is so
completely charged as an Indirect Tax
on the prices of all goods and services produced? Is there any better way to
to manufacture "Social Distress" than the
way it has been done for thirty centuries?
You raised a question that has bothered me
since 1969, and many other writers from
Biblical times to date, when you wrote in
your introduction:
"We have put a man on the moon, a vehicle on mars. We can remove a person’s heart and replace it with a machine, which lasts for years. The scientific advancements of the last century defy the imagination of many even though we have experienced them. How is it that people of all backgrounds and ethnicity can readily get along while, up to this time, our governments cannot?"
The contrast between the behavior of individuals and the behavior of governments is difficult to explain. But the contrast between the behavior of corporations and the behavior of governments is even more astonishing, because both institutions are operated by the same kind of people; our wealthy, healthy, intelligent, and powerful people, our WHIPs.
The contrast is astonishing, at least to me, because our corporations have created a seamless interconnected global web that functions nearly perfectly, while our governments are always in contentious competition and war with each other.
